“Câlin”

“Câlin” means hug and even a bit more.

Today we live in an era of internet and new technologies that do not favor human contact.

This painting describes the opposite. It is obviously about our need for empathy, compassion, love and shared loved, intimacy.

 It does not explain why senior citizens can feel so lonely at times or why couples do not want to have children any more nor why countries engage in endless wars with each other.

 It just wants to remind you, like in the song: “Love is all we need”.
